In our search for the best self-tanner for a natural-looking glow, we put That’so Italy’s On the Go to the test. Here’s how it performed, from application to the finished fake tan.

Whether you’re using a self-bronzer lotion or another formula, the best self-tanner should be easy to apply and leave you with natural-looking colour. We spent several months testing That’so Italy’s On the Go range and were pleased with its pleasant scent, simple application, and even, streak-free results. Here’s our honest review of how it turned out:
We’d heard plenty of praise for On the Go, but we were still skeptical. We’d tried other self-tanner formulas before and had often been disappointed. This one won us over almost immediately. The spray was easy to apply to the face, neck, and shoulders, and it dried surprisingly quickly. After about 30 seconds, we were ready to get dressed. Once it dried, there were no visible streaks or patchy spots, and the color looked natural against our skin. There was none of the orange tint we tend to associate with fake tan. The scent was another pleasant surprise. It was much milder than other tanning products and self-bronzer lotions we’d tried, making it comfortable to use without an overpowering fragrance.
Our only drawback was the upkeep: we needed to reapply this self-tanner almost every day to maintain our color throughout the week. Even so, we were pleased enough with the results that we’d happily buy another bottle.
