Perms

Men's hair perms

Men’s and women’s perms follow the same process and serve the same purpose. First, the hair is wrapped around curlers or rollers, depending on the desired size and shape of the curl or wave. After the rollers are in place, a reducing solution is applied to the hair to break some of the original disulfide bonds in the hair fiber. After a set resting time, the hair is gently rinsed, and a neutralizing solution is then applied to lock in the new bonds and ensure the hair holds the desired shape. Finally, the hair is rinsed again and styled.
