Its amplifier multiplies the air flow by 3 times, producing a controlled jet of air at high pressure and high speed, for accelerated and precise drying. Adapted to reduce noise, Dyson engineers isolated the motor and acoustically adjusted its pitch to an inaudible frequency, making it less intrusive.
