Wella Professionals' "Illumina" permanent color revolutionizes hair coloring with its luminous highlights, up to 100% grey coverage, and natural-looking, translucent finish. It can lighten, darken, or enhance the hair’s natural color, delivering multidimensional color and exceptional shine.

How to use it

Simple Mixing Ratio: 1:1 – equal parts color and developer.
Exception: Special Blonde series uses a 1:2 ratio.

For Same-Level or Darker Color

Use Welloxon Perfect 10 Volume.
Apply the color to dry hair, from roots to ends. Section the hair finely and apply a generous amount of product.

Processing time: 30–40 minutes without heat, or 15–25 minutes with heat.

For Gray Coverage

Use Welloxon Perfect 20 Volume.
It's important to include the appropriate amount of pure Natural shades in your formula.
Start the application in the area with the highest percentage of gray.
If applying to regrowth only, do not apply the color beyond the regrowth area.

30–50% gray: use 1/3 pure Natural shade
50–100% gray: use 1/2 pure Natural shade

Processing time: 30–40 minutes without heat, or 15–25 minutes with heat.
Always check results before rinsing.

For Lighter Color on Natural Hair

Welloxon Perfect 40 Volume – lifts up to 3 levels
Welloxon Perfect 30 Volume – lifts up to 2 levels
Welloxon Perfect 20 Volume – lifts up to 1 level

Step 1: Apply color to dry hair, mid-lengths and ends only.
Section hair finely and apply a generous amount of product, leaving about 2 cm from the scalp.

Processing time: 20 minutes without heat, or 10 minutes with heat.

Step 2: Apply color to the regrowth in fine sections, using a generous amount of product.

Processing time: 30–40 minutes without heat, or 15–25 minutes with heat.

Toner on Pre-Lightened Hair

Start by lightening the hair to the desired level.

Mixing ratio: 1:2, meaning twice the amount of developer compared to color.
(Example: 60ml of color to 120ml of developer)

Use with Welloxon 6 Volume.

Apply quickly, focusing on areas that need more neutralization. Monitor the hair to determine when the desired tone is achieved.

Processing time: 5–15 minutes.

Tips
